Pastor Tate is a loving husband to his beautiful wife, Elder Evangelist Zeneta Tate, with whom he has shared 30 years of marriage. Through this union, God blessed them with three children and a grandson: two daughters, Breyahna and Trinity, son Elias, and grandson Lathan . Pastor Tate began his Christian journey in 1998, joining the Smyrna Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Jacob A. Pickett, Jr. in Gary, Indiana. There, he was water baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost, and became a licensed minister under Elder Pickett’s guidance. A passionate soul winner, Pastor Tate has participated in various outreach teams throughout Chicago and Indiana with Gospel station 102.3. He has also engaged in prison ministries, ministering at the Cook County Correctional Facility with his wife and at the Pontiac Correctional Facility under Pastor Walter McKee. Pastor Tate felt led to attend a service at Monument Center of Life Church, where Mark Anthony Henton was the pastor. Following that service, God planted him exactly where he needed to be. Under Pastor Henton's leadership, Pastor Tate was nurtured and equipped to become the man of God he is today. When God has a plan for your life, everything falls into place. Pastor Henton entrusted him to lead the outreach ministry and established him and his wife as the leaders of the We Are One Marriage Ministry. Apostle Mark A. Henton later elevated Pastor Tate to the position of Pastor of Monument Center of Life Church. After his official installation, Pastor Tate renamed the church to Resurrected Word of Life Ministries. This outreach church aims to reach the masses with its ministry.
